Creative Grant Wisconsin

Wisconsin - On April 20, 2013, 149 people learned ways to improve their finances at the 1st ever Oshkosh Money Conference™. The conference offered a wide variety of workshops for adults and youth, along with educational displays where participants picked up valuable information and connections.

Winnebago County University of Wisconsin Extension staff provided the following workshops:
*How to Have More Month than Money for a Change (Basic Budgeting)-Kristi Cutts
(this workshop was a repeat session)

*Feed Your Family Without Going Broke-Paula Hella

*Realistic Record Keeping-Christine Kniep

“Living Well-More Than A Cookbook” books were distributed to all attendees at the “How to Have More Month than Money for a Change” sessions. There were 63 attendees between the two sessions, so all 50 books obtained via the CIP grant were distributed. Participant’s books were bookmarked in the financial management section (pages 30-37) to further spotlight the resources available.
