Hotel rooms are still available at the Hyatt Lexington! Due to the overwhelming excitement surrounding the 2014 NEAFCS Annual Session, our members have reserved all of the Hyatt’s double/double rooms. However, there are still more than 75 King rooms available. If you would like to reserve a rollaway bed for your King room, they are available for an additional $10 per room, per night. You will need to make that request when you book your reservation to ensure the hotel reserves the right number.

IMPORTANT:  Due to State Fire Codes, rooms with 2 double beds cannot accommodate a rollaway and king rooms can accommodate 1 rollaway bed.

The NEAFCS National Office has received some inquiries about hotel room availability for the 2014 Annual Session at the Hyatt Regency Lexington, KY.  We want to assure you that there are still plenty of rooms available within the group’s room block.

Then, why is the hotel showing no availability?
If you are receiving a notice that the hotel is sold out, then you are probably trying to book your room on September 12, 13, 19, or 20, the pre-conference or post-conference dates.

For those of you trying to make travel plans, please note that the pre-conference workshops begin Monday, September 15, at 8:00 AM, and the Opening Session starts at 1:00 PM that same day.

Our Annual Session concludes Thursday, September 18, with our Annual Awards Banquet.

So, what should I do?
Please book your room(s) across the dates of September 14-19.

If you need a room on September 12, 13 or September 19, 20, you can make a separate reservation at either the Hyatt, outside of the NEAFCS room block, or any local area hotel, subject to their room and rate availability.  A list is provided when you click on the Read More link below.

Please remember that you MUST stay at the Hyatt Regency Lexington during the official conference dates Sunday, September 14 – Thursday, September 18 to avoid the $300 Alternate Housing Fee.*

*The Alternate Housing Fee is waived for local affiliate members commuting daily to the conference.
