Wellness Wheel Assessment (Funded by the NEAFCS Endowment Grant)
June 10, 2025
2 PM ET, 1 PM CT, 12 PM MT, 11 AM PT

Panelist - Michele Kroll, Ph.D, NH

“How are you?” It’s a simple question that is sometimes difficult to answer. One ingredient of self-care is understanding where you are currently in terms of your well-being. The wellness wheel is a free interactive web-based asynchronous tool and visual representation that assesses an individual’s perception of overall wellness.

The wellness wheel focuses on 8 important dimensions of wellness: emotional, financial, environmental, intellectual, occupational, physical, social and spiritual. The 8 Dimensions of Wellness is a wholistic, strength-based approach which builds on individual assets and strengths. It is individually defined based on goals, beliefs, values, culture, personality, and life experiences (Swarbrick, 1997). A wellness wheel assessment can help individuals identify core health values and goals.

Participants will learn about wellness and well-being, the 8 Dimensions of Wellness model and will be guided through the online assessment, understanding results, how to access the reflection and activity guide and additional online resources. National data analysis will be shared from assessment results for wellness dimension criteria in different demographic categories that may be useful for identifying wellness areas to be addressed for local programs and workplace wellness.
