Updates Regarding COVID-19 and the Annual Session

Last updated 4/22/2020

NEAFCS Annual Session Status

Proceeding as planned, September 14-17, 2020 at the Snowbird Resort, UT.

Given the impact of COVID-19, we want to assure you that our Board of Directors and Staff are monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as local public health authorities.  NEAFCS Staff are also working with the host hotel to address their current operations and health plans for mass gatherings.  At the current time, we plan to move forward with the 2020 NEAFCS Annual Session given that we are still 5 months out. NEAFCS will continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis and notify members, attendees, exhibitors and speakers if circumstances change.

We hope you continue to make your plans to participate in the Annual Session. Registration will open in late-May. The Snowbird Resort is currently accepting reservations within the group block. The Snowbird Resort does require a deposit when making reservations, however cancellations can be received up to two weeks prior to the start of the meeting in order to not be assessed a penalty.

Stay Informed and Be Prepared

NEAFCS is committed to ensuring our response during this challenging time is responsibly based in facts, not driven by fear.  Following are important resources to monitor as you consider your plans to join us in September.  We continue to closely review all guidance from global, federal and local health authorities to implement what is needed for the good of our show community and the good of our industry.

We are currently following the direction of the leading authority, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), which has made it clear that the risk is low, and travel remains safe.
