The in-person 2020 Annual Session is now a fully virtual experience. 


I had a hotel reservation at Snowbird. Will my deposit be refunded?
Yes. Your room was automatically cancelled by the hotel back in May and the deposit was refunded to the card on file. If you did not receive the cancellation confirmation or your deposit refund, please email Elizabeth Lane at [email protected]

What is the NEAFCS 2020 Virtual Annual Session?
The 2020 NEAFCS Annual Session is a fully virtual experience occurring online September 14-16, 2020.  The platform will provide 73+ concurrent sessions, 40 poster presentations, a virtual exhibit hall with Exhibitor Forums, online social function and networking opportunities, silent auction and much more.

How much do I need to pay to register for the Virtual Annual Session?
Early-bird Full Registration for members is $150, non-members pay $250. Additional fees of $25-$40 may be incurred if you wish to participate in a Pre-Conference Workshop.  Advanced Registration fees will increase starting on August 24th: $200 for members and $300 for non-members.

Where do I register?
Right here! After you register, your information will be loaded into the online platform as soon as possible. Once you have been added to the system, the platform (Accelevents) will send you an email asking you to create a login.  Make sure to save your information as we do not have access to your password.

When does registration close for the Virtual Session?
Registration will close on September 10, 2020.  After this date, we can work with individuals on a one-on-one basis to get you registered and added to the virtual platform. If you registered prior to September 10th and did not receive an email directly from Accelevents to create your login, please email Elizabeth Lane at [email protected]

Will sessions be recorded to access later?
Yes. Content on the platform is available for 30 days post-meeting. As long as you register for the Annual Session, even if you can’t make the live meeting, you will have access to all educational sessions and materials, including concurrent sessions and uploaded documents, poster presentations and uploaded documents, general session presentations and exhibitor materials. You will only be able to access the recordings if you are registered prior to September 10th.

Will the virtual event allow for CEU/PDUs?
Yes. NEAFCS will apply for credits with AAFCS, AFCPE and NCFR.  Approved credit information will be posted to the Annual Session website once available.  Please email [email protected] at the NEAFCS National Office after the virtual conference has concluded to request a certificate of attendance. 

Where can I access handouts for the sessions I attend?
If a presenter provides handouts for their session, you can access and download the files within the session description.  

Where can I find your W-9?
Please email [email protected] to obtain the current W-9 Form.

Which time zone is the schedule in?
The time zone for the 2020 NEAFCS Virtual Annual Session is Mountain Daylight Time (MDT).

Can I use a Bluetooth headset?
Yes, as long as the Bluetooth device is compatible with the computer or device you are using.

Will I be able to obtain proof for my employer that I attended entire sessions?
Yes, we can provide this information by request. Please email [email protected] at the NEAFCS National Office after the virtual conference has concluded to request a certificate of attendance.

What is the schedule for the Virtual Annual Session?

How do I cancel my registration? Will I receive a refund?
Due to the nature of the virtual program and the opportunity to view all content on-demand for 30 days post-meeting (excluding pre-conference workshops), refunds will not be issued.  Individuals may transfer registrations up until Thursday, September 10.  All workshop registration fees are non-refundable.  Registrations cancelled for reasons of health emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances, must be requested in writing using the NEAFCS Cancellation/Refund Request Form. Any amount of refund is at the discretion of the Executive Board.

What payment methods do you accept for registration fees?
You may pay your registration fees by Cash, Check, Money Order, Visa, Master Card, or American Express. Purchase orders will NOT be considered as a method of payment for the Annual Session. This online registration form allows for only one method of payment.  Therefore, if you would like to split your registration with multiple payment methods please complete your registration online and select the “Send Check” option at checkout. Then, mail, fax, or e-mail your registration confirmation (which you will receive via e-mail after you register) to the NEAFCS National Office along with a Payment Authorization Form.

Will I need to choose which concurrent sessions I attend?
On the live event days, will need to CHOOSE 1 session when there are multiple offerings in order to access the event. After the live event ends, all registrants will have access to recordings of all the events you didn’t get to participate in. Once you have access to the Virtual Platform (Accelevents) you will be able to build your schedule by selecting the sessions you want to attend. (Details on how to access recorded sessions after the live Annual Session Virtual Event will be posted soon.)

I am a speaker for the Virtual Annual Session. Where can I find details on how to prepare my presentation, what the platform will allow, etc.?

Will there be a Silent Auction this year?
Yes!  Please continue to check the Annual Session webpage for more information on participating in the Silent Auction, both as a bidder and as a donor. 

Will you be utilizing the Annual Session App this year?
Yes!  We highly recommend you download the App to participate in games and challenges, help NEAFCS collect photos from this year’s virtual Annual Session, receive important updates and much more.
