2020 NEAFCS Presenter Information & Guidelines

Concurrent Session Presenters:


Concurrent Session Setup and Audio Visual Support
Presenters will be provided with the following audio visual support:
  • Projector, screen and laptop (Operating System details will be provided soon)
  • One podium with microphone
  • Table for materials

Showcase of Excellence Presenters:


If you will be presenting a Showcase of Excellence at the upcoming Annual Session, below are the display specifications and other important information. 

Boards: 4' (h) x 8' (w) cork boards - pins and/or thumbtacks will be provided
Table: You'll also have a 3' table in front of the standing poster board for handouts and other materials

Use thin/lightweight poster paper, cloth or cardboard since heavy materials may be difficult to attach to the display board. Audio/Visual support, internet access and electrical outlets are not provided or available. 

Presenters are responsible for the setup and breakdown of their poster displays.  Poster's will be displayed OUTSIDE of the Exhibit Hall, so we recommend you do not leave your poster case or any other valuables overnight. 

Posters are located in the foyer outside the Exhibit Hall and open for viewing on Wednesday, September 16 and Thursday, September 17. See specific schedule below.

Showcase of Excellence Timeline:

Tuesday, September 15

5:00 PM ----------------------- Poster Setup (Only for Posters scheduled on Wednesday)

Wednesday, September 16

8:00 AM – 3:00 PM -------- Showcase of Excellence Presentation Display for Wednesday Only

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM -------- Wednesday Posters to be Manned

3:30 PM  4:30 PM -------- Poster Tear-down (MUST be down by 4:30 PM or they will be removed by staff)

5:00 PM ----------------------- Poster Setup (Only for Posters scheduled on Thursday)

Thursday, September 17

8:00 AM – 3:00 PM --------- Showcase of Excellence Presentation Display for Thursday Only

1:30 PM  2:30 PM --------- Thursday's Posters to be Manned

3:30 PM – 4:30 PM --------- Poster Tear-down (MUST be down by 4:30 PM or they will be removed by staff)

Ignite Presentations:


Ignite presentations will be scheduled during concurrent session time blocks within the Annual Session agenda. Specific presentation times will be shared with the accepted speakers directly and posted below once available. 

Ignite Sessions Overview 
If you were selected to present an ignite session, as a reminder you are required to also display your POSTER presentation as outlined above. Ignite sessions are not a time for question and answers  There will be a scheduled 2-3 minute break to transition between presentations. Please bring your ignite presentation on a flash drive and pre-set it for the 10 minute time limit (it should move automatically without a clicker to advance). NEAFCS will provide a projector, screen, laptop, podium and microphone in each room. Presenters should arrive to their room a few minutes early to test and/or load their flash drives.
